What is a vision board?

A vision board is a visual representation of your goals and dreams. It is a collage of images, words, and phrases that represent what you want to achieve in life.

Creating a vision board is a great way to gain an understanding of what’s truly important to you, it increases your motivation to work on your goals and inspires you to make positive changes to your life.

What happens at a vision board workshop?

First of all, you are provided with a complimentary glass of pink fizz. Because we're celebrating you for taking the time to invest in yourself!

In this workshop, Clare and Ollie will navigate you through the simple steps to help you work out what you want, desire & need for your life.

Imagine piles of magazines, inspirational words, glue sticks, flipping through pages and ripping out the pictures that appeal to you to create your personal Vision Board.

You’ll flick through the magazines until you spot something that appeals to you. Cut the picture (or word) out and stick it to your piece of mountboard. This creates a “Vision Board”.

Not only will you create a piece of art to help you see your goals visually every day, but there are also a lot of clever meanings to your Vision Board. Our Coaches will guide you through an in-depth exploration of the (often subconscious) meanings of the images which you selected for your board.

By the end of the event, you will have your very own finished vision board.

Frequently asked questions

What do I need to bring?
We do recommend that you bring 5 magazines that you love or that you have always wanted to buy. Be brave in your choice, don’t be shy. This will make your vision board more personal and “you”.
What is included in the workshop?
All art supplies, including A3 board, glue stick, scissors, and inspirational words. Guidance from two practising life coaches - Ollie and Clare. Complimentary drink on arrival - a glass of pink fizz.
What time should I get there?
We start bang on at 7 pm, so please get there at 6:45 pm to get your seat or 6:30 pm if there is a large group of you so that you can sit together.
Do I need to know what I want in life?
Not at all, creating a vision board will give you a great sense of direction and will reveal your best way forward. Clare and Ollie will guide you through the whole evening and will advise or prompt you so that you will leave with a vision board that you love.
I already know what I want, is there any point in joining?
Absolutely, we often find people who already know what they want really enjoy the workshop as it either consolidates their goals and dreams or sometimes they find out something new and exciting they want to aim for!
What is your refund policy?
We are a small business so I am afraid we don’t offer any refunds as we have to hire the venue in advance.
What’s the difference between a vision and goal setting?
A vision is the ability to think about or plan the future with imagination or wisdom. It’s an overarching thought of where you want to get to. Whereas a goal is the object of a person's ambition or effort; an aim or desired result. A vision is more flexible than a goal, it’s bigger and broader.
Why do you recommend buying a journal?
Our Morning Mindset Journal includes a daily exercise that specifically links to your vision board. Research has shown that simply visualising a feeling/goal produces neurological patterns that are similar to those produced when the goal is actually achieved. Therefore, whilst you might not currenlty live the life shown on your vision board, you can practise visualising it to make the execution easier.
